Yes to Jesus

"Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God - children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God." John 1:12-13

I have been enjoying reading my son's Jesus Storybook Bible to him every evening.  He can earn anywhere from 1-3 chapters depending on his behavior during his bedtime routine.  He almost always chooses his Bible as one of the books to read.  I love it!

We finished it tonight and at the end is a paraphrase of John 1:12-13:

"For anyone who says yes to Jesus

For anyone who believes what Jesus said

For anyone who will just reach out to take it

Then God will give them this wonderful gift:

To be born into

A Whole new Life

To be who they really are

Who God always made them to be -

Their own true selves -

God's dear Child."

Say yes to Jesus - your life will never be the same.
